Our Learning

Nikau Syndicate visited the Island Bay Marine Education Centre.

We have been learning about Tangaroa's Taonga and on the day we saw lots of his treasures and we touched lots of wonderful sea creatures. Our syndicate enjoyed a wonderful day and we would love to thank our terrific parents for making it a tu meke day.

Many thanks also to Victor, Sarah and Judy for sharing their wonderful knowledge with us.

Please scroll down to see just a few photos of the day.  Will add more soon.

We searched the rockpools.

We also saw lots in the salt water tanks.

We needed wet hands when we touched the creatures.

Some almost looked like they came from another planet.

We were fascinated by the octopus.
